KONAVLE are on the far South of Croatia, surrounded by the sea on the southern side, and the mountains adjacent to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, on the northern side. Between the mountains and the sea is the Konavle valley, and along the shore you will find the bays Cavtat, Molunat and Prevlaka.

CAVTAT is 17 km far from Dubrovnik. It was founded on the grounds of the former Roman town Epidaurus. Today it is the center of the Konavle district. For years Cavtat has attracted numerous tourists who are fond of clear sea, beautiful nature, and good hosts.
The famous Croatian painter Vlaho Bukovac was born in Cavtat. Along with the Vlaho Bukovac Gallery Cavtat is known for the Račić Mausoleum, a work of the famous Croatian sculptor Ivan Meštrović, and the cultural and historical collection of Baltazar Bogišić.
In Cavtat You can find a few hotels and a large number of private rooms and apartments.

ČILIPI are placed some 10 kilometers from Cavtat. They are famous for their Sunday meetings of a great number of tourists who come to enjoy the Konavle dances and the specific Konavle national costumes.
Next to Čilipi are the Dubrovnik airport receiving tourists from all over the world who come to see Dubrovnik and its broader surroundings.

MOLUNAT is a small town at the far south of Konavle. It is placed in a beautiful bay with sandy beaches and it is one of the most beautiful villages and resorts of Konavle.
